PEACEFUL PROTEST

PEACEFUL PROTEST AGAINST THE TAKING OF OUR ANGLING RIGHTS BY THE NRFB, DONEGAL COUNTY COUNCIL & ASSISTED BY SOME LOCAL ANGLERS.

Dear Visiting Angler,                                    April 2007.

The anglers of Donegal and Ireland would be very grateful if you could take time to read this notice and stop angling on this river until further notice.  The reason is simple.  You have been granted angling permission for a price, but at the expense of the local anglers who are been denied their rights on these waters they have fished for generations.  We have no wish to involve you in our dispute, but we have to inform all anglers to these waters of their plan to use you, to impose the impossible on us. You are a sporting person who wishes to fish with the local, and not instead of the local and as such we appeal to you to cease angling now and not to buy a permit until this dispute is resolved to the satisfaction of the Donegal Game Angling Federation.

Alternative angling will be available locally for you that support our protest in any of the clubs affiliated to the DGAF.  Please co-operate, as you are the key to ending this dispute now.
